“Drunk Ewoks disrupt NBC’s Today Show”
NBC’s “Today” show Halloween decorating segment with Better Homes & Gardens and the news team dressed as “Star Wars” characters went increasingly awry due to a pair of scene stealing Ewoks.
Al Roker, dressed as Han Solo, tries to keep the peace. But he couldn’t prevent the dry humping.
“Down...

I’ve been using it quite a bit to find the originals to source-less images I find on tumblr or elsewhere on the ‘webs.
When I reblog something without a source link, I do my best to try to find the original before I post it. Just doing my part to clean-up tumblr.
Looking forward to checking this out. Looks very useful.

Today is a good day
woefullymisinformed:
I wore a Phillies t-shirt as I walked to the coffee shop just now. Outside the shop, a guy was wearing a Yankees hat, sitting with his friend.
“Phillies suck,” he said to me as I walked by.
“Yeah, I guess that’s why they made the Yankees look like the company softball team last night,” I responded.
His friend laughed. I went in the coffee shop. I am never that cool, ever....
Star Wars ~ A Deal Breaker?

I had never mentally placed “Star Wars” and “deal breaker” together - before today, that is. I stumbled upon a poll on Apartment Therapy, wherein a reader had submitted a question regarding a significant other’s Star Wars collection, the poll that the website had placed underneath was “Would living WITH a Star Wars Collection be a deal breaker for you?”
Whaaaa? My poor brain...

Here’s some of what Catanzarite had to say about why U2 appealed to his brand of moral conservatism: “U2 has made it possible for at least two generations of fans of contemporary popular music to expect more from the form than the dead end credo of ‘sex, drugs, and rock and roll.’ Here was a band born in the ashes of 70s punk nihilism, singing songs with a distinctly...

and I laughed so hard I got a stomach ache and couldn’t open my eyes.
If that’s not an endorsement for a show, I don’t know what is.

I'll see you at Crane's Tavern
gregjong:
I’ll be playing a solo show (sans Elle Reese on drums) at Crane’s Tavern in Hollywood this Tuesday, October 27. Also on the bill is the excellent Jamie Drake.
The show is free, the beer cheap, the ambience swell, and the music of utmost quality. All in all, not a bad Tuesday night for you.
More information over here.

when my ulcers were really bad and I was only making them worse by not eating*, I would have awful stomach aches that lasted for hours. During which I would alternate with thinking that death would be easier and pleading to God to ease the pain.

Dear Anita,
I realize you may not be used to having your quotes and speeches passed around the Internet to be ridiculed and scrutinized, but allow me to offer you some free and unsolicited advice. It’s never a good idea to pick a polarizing figure from history as a leader with whom you look up to, even if done so ironically. You’re setting yourself up for a lot of second-guessing and...
