Heard this one on Sons of Anarchy last night. So glad they feature unsigned artists like Noah. Terrific song.

You know that tv shows feature unsigned artists cuz they’re cheaper than artists on major labels, right?
I mean, granted, the music supervisor still selects good music (theoretically), but that’s why you’re hearing a lot more “indie” artists on shows and movies these days.
What Audrey said. We’re talking tens of thousands cheaper too. Studios aren’t doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. It is nice though for newer artists and gets them some recognition.
