damn right, its like sweet tea + humidity = really nice people.
So true, I loved my college experience in Nashville. So many great people there, and I don’t think many folks here in LA know that.
I realize this is an extreme example, but I actually had some intern ask me “is everyone racist in the South?”…..I couldn’t believe it. I told her I hadn’t met any racist individuals in my experience. I’m sure there are somewhere, but everyone? Hell no. And here’s the kicker: she refused to believe me. Even though she has never visited the South and I had lived there for 3.5 years. I wonder if she realized she was being just as prejudiced against Southerners as she was claiming they were.
